Friendly Billiards Tournament with War Veterans, the Odesa-Basket Team, and Diesel Show United Strong-Willed People in Odesa

On August 25, 2024, a friendly billiards tournament took place in Odesa, bringing together war veterans from the Odesa-Basket team and representatives of the popular Diesel Show. Held at the "Arena" Billiard Club, the event united athletes, artists, and community members in support of veterans and to promote active lifestyles among them.

The Odesa-Basket team, led by experienced coach Vitalii Sulakov, is well-known for its achievements in adaptive sports. This time, the team decided to try their hand at billiards, competing in a friendly and warm atmosphere against Diesel Show, which actively supports social initiatives and veteran programs. The tournament provided an opportunity for participants to showcase their skills, share experiences, and offer mutual support, as sports and social connections play an essential role in the rehabilitation of many veterans.

Vasyl Rybak emphasized that events like this promote veterans’ social integration by offering them not just athletic opportunities but also a sense of unity and encouragement.
