Odesa-Basket Team Wins Wheelchair Basketball Championship in Kyiv

The Odesa-Basket team has made history by bringing home the championship trophy from the wheelchair basketball tournament in Kyiv. This marks the first time the team has achieved such a prestigious victory, and the event was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Odesa.

The team faced tough competition, playing against the veteran team "Tytanovi" and the Kyiv Lions. The tournament, dubbed the "Tournament of the Unbreakable," was a friendly but fierce competition where every participant was already a hero and a winner.

Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Truhanov congratulated the Odesa-Basket team on their remarkable achievement, praising the team's driving force - Oleg Prokhorov, Vasyl Rybak, and Vadym Pudzirey - who have been instrumental in helping people with disabilities, including war veterans, return to full and active lives through sports.
