VASYL RYBAK
Vasiliy Rybak is a distinguished maxillofacial surgeon with over 20 years of experience.
Since 2014, he has been the chief dentist of the Health Protection Department of the Kyiv Regional State Administration and the chief specialist in maxillofacial surgery for the Odesa region. Since 2021, Rybak has headed the postgraduate department of head and neck at the International Humanitarian University in Odesa and has been the president of the All-Ukrainian Association of Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a board member of the German Association of Oral Implantologists since 2013 and a member of the American Association of Maxillofacial Surgeons (ACMFS, Chicago), and leads the maxillofacial surgery center at the Institute of Advanced Medicine 'Virtus' since 2021.
Vasyl Rybak has made significant contributions to the development of maxillofacial surgery by establishing several specialized centers across Ukraine. He actively participated in providing medical assistance during the Maidan events in 2014, for which he was awarded the "Honor, Dignity, Freedom" order. Rybak has also repeatedly received state awards for providing medical assistance to military personnel in the conflict zones of eastern Ukraine.
Vasyl's main professional focuses include polytrauma and osteosynthesis of fractures in the maxillofacial area, reconstructive surgery including the replacement of head and neck defects with individualized 3D implants, treatment of inflammatory processes, dental implantation in complex clinical cases, and collaborative surgical interventions with neurosurgeons and other specialists. His scientific interests encompass transplantology and the use of plasma enriched with growth factors.
Vasyl is actively involved in scientific and educational activities, authoring over 20 scientific papers and holding 15 Ukrainian patents. Under his leadership, more than 35 scientific and practical conferences and congresses have been conducted.
